Hi, I'm Sarah.  Welcome to Coupons and Polka Dots.  My little space on the internet where I can gab about my favorite pastime-shopping. Here I will share my thrifted finds, amazing buys in store, and what I am wearing. My goal is to look chic on the cheap. 

I am a wife and young mother of two girls living in Southern California.  I am also a teacher, so I don't have loads of money to spend.  I shop strategically (combining coupons and sales) for everything!  I am all about getting the most bang for my buck!

I wasn't always that way.  My family was spending well outside of our means.  We still struggle with this problem.  They say that bad habits are hard to break, but I am determined to break this habit. 

From time to time I may share my couponing hauls with you. My promise to you is that I will be transparent about what I am couponing for and how much I am spending out of pocket.  You won't find any sketchy couponing math here!  

Stuff I have to say.....

I am a teacher and we all know that teachers do not make bank.  I do use affiliate links on my blog as a way to earn some extra cash.  Coupons and Polka Dots is about me, my style, and my shopping adventures.  This means that items that I link to are items that I would actually buy or have bought. 

Someday, I may have the opportunity to work with brands.  The opinions, thoughts, and ideas that I express will be honest and entirely my own.
